Beneficial properties of tourmaline hairdryer and straightners?

I have a hot tools tourmaline hairdryer. I love it. It is so much lighter (almost too light, I dropped it when I first got it because it slipped out of my hand) than any other I have used. It really does dry my hair faster too. I bought it because the salon I go to used it.

Sad face. I went to order it and HSN was all sold out.
I have the BaByliss PRO TT (Carrera 2) Tourmaline 3000 Dryer and I am very happy with it.
Of those that you mention, the only one I am familiar with is T-Studio and that is a good hair dryer for the money. AJ
