Am I using the best products for African Hair????

I use nexxus therapee shampoo and humectress conditioner. I use heat protexx too. I sit under a hooded dryer and only use heat once a week. I only get touchups every 8 weeks. What can I do to make sure that my hair is growing to its maximum length. And what is the best flat iron and blow dryer out there for black hair? Can I use Bedhead styling equipment? And where can i find a good krimper
