Gemma Asked:
i am thinking of getting one, as my current one caught on fire (and it was a good one from a hairdresser that i bought a few years back).... is the nutrihair Buy Cialis sunbeam hair dryers any good?
Reply:
it sounds like i would hurt myself if i used it.. if the one that caught fire was so good, why not get that brand again nutrihair sunbeam hair dryers.

The 2 only sunbeam hand hairdryers that did contain asbestos were the 'single Northern hair dryer', Model 1821, and this was replaced with the Model 1889 "Pocket Pistol" hair dryer in the late 1970's.
Also, as far as I am aware – only the professionaire models contained asbestos, which were those mainly used by hairdressers.
If you can remember much about the hairdryer, then please let me know and I will try and identify it and give you confirmation that it was safe.
You are right to ask this question, as old appliances in particular can omit asbestos fibers. This is due to the asbestos becoming friable (crumbly with age)
I will post an article Re. this on my blog,
Kind regards,
Ann.
Best my mom had back in the day was a full beauty salon-type sit-down dryer I used to use to dry my hair after I took a bath! People today are spoiled on those portable types.
