I just bought a Carel soft bonnet dryer because they're supposed to be better for your hair than blow drying, but most of the hot air accumulates in the back, barely reaching the front... The front still gets dry, but I was wondering if this defeats the purpose of evenly distributed heat and not concentrating heat in certain areas of your hair? Or is it a malfunction in the one I bought?

What you should do first is a pure hot oil treatment first for 15 minutes, then try your deep conditioning treatment. I would suggest using the following oils because they penetrate the hair the fastest. Coconut, Extra virgin olive, Avocado, and Rosemary.
