black women: do you HAVE TO sit under the dryer for a wet wrap?

unfortunatley i dont have a hood-dryer.
i plan on cutting my hair short.
and after i wash and condition my hair...
then wrap it with wrapping/setting foam
can i just let my wrap air dry??.......then flat iron it later?
do i really have to sit under the hood?
i also have a blow Viagra whithout prescription dryer....should i just blow dy it?
well it might come out smoother if you put some actual heat to it so yes the the hood dryer would help, but you can also let it air dry. and if you use a blow dryer you will just blow the hair out of place.
I’m not a black woman, but I’m a stylist, and I’ve worked on black hair. You do not need to sit under a hood dryer. . . both things you mentioned are viable options. Personally, I’d blow dry, then do any needed touch ups with a flat iron.
PS: In regards to blowing the hair out of place: make sure you are using a diffuser attachment on your dryer, and this shouldn’t be an issue.
no, I just use a hairdryer to dry my scalp to prevent headaches, then I’ll go do my stuff and let it dry
No…To be honest, i dont know anyone with a overhead dryer, lol i guess thats what hair shops are for…I heard of people blowing drying there hair on low, then they comb it straight and complete the drying process by turning the dryer up high…I cant really relate because i hardly wrap my hair anymore, but this is just what i heard.
i’d be under pressure if i was in the middle of that crowd and needed a piss!

Try to find a picture of a person with the exact same color, or another one you like, and show it to someone and get a picture. You can also (I know this sounds ridiculous) go to a place where they sell paints and browse around in the brown section. Show a color u like to ur stylist and well.. dye the hair!
