You really can't convert an existing electric hair dryer to a battery operated hair dryers without using a large inverter and a large auto battery.
I've never seen a portable hair-dryer.
The problem is that they use about 1200 watts, and with a 12 volt battery, that is 100 amps. Even a large auto battery will last only 30-45 minutes at that rate.
9 volt batteries will last for seconds.

looks great production ,have you got any data on it ,mpg increase, volts, amps, cell design+configuration ?
battery operated straighteners are around $30 or £20
why dont u instead.. try putting your hair in braids over night
dampen them and when u wake up in the morning.. un weave them
and youl have beautiful waves!
or.. you could try calming lotions such as john frieda calming lotion
and ive heard of this.. but i dont know if it works
take some aloe vera, a dime size, work it through ur hair after washing
then brush it out, youl have nice soft hair! id try it if i were you though
before u went to camp just incase it doesnt work.
id suggest investing in a paddle brush and some calming lotions
this will reduce any kinks and give u straight hair easily
hope this helps!!!
Don't bother! You are at camp to enjoy the great outdoors. Just let your hair go with the flow! Use a little hand lotion or gel in your hair after washing it so it doesn't frizz out on you, and it'll look great! The people who always spend a lot of time working on their appearance on camping trips always end up looking the dumbest.
